The Arco Institute was created in 2021 to amplify the mission of Arco Educação. We operate within the academic olympiads ecosystem, helping the overcoming of challenges that can turn public education into a gold-medal champion!

Educational solutions

We offer free educational solutions to partner organizations, based on Arco Educação’s products, services, and technology.

Tech

Arco technological platform that enables, automates, and streamlines the creation and administration of large-scale assessments

Arco’s technological platform includes:

Question bank;

Online assessment delivery;

Generation and scanning of answer sheets for in-person;

Automated grading;

Performance report generation;

Alignment with BNCC competencies.

Implementing partner

Cactus promotes leadership among public-school students through mathematics-focused competitions. Its initiatives include Maratona Cactus, Olimpíada Cactus, and Turmas Olímpicas.

We provide the Assessment solution as a plug-in for the Olympic Portal, supporting both simulations for the Turmas Olímpicas program and the execution of the Cactus Olympics.

I am 15 years old and I study at EMEF Santa Cruz, born and raised in a public school. And today I want to thank the Cactus Project, because thanks to it, this year, I was qualified for the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo in Chemistry. And today I came to bring, with great joy and great satisfaction, how much the Cactus Project can impact our lives and our society. The Cactus project has its great mission to bring mathematics and teaching to public schools. (...) These are classes that, most of the time, are subjects that are very important for entrance exams and other exams, but which are not currently brought to schools. (...) They have incredible, wonderful teachers who are always there to answer your questions. We also have Helania who is always there encouraging us and who says something that I carry in my life: (...) teaching changes our lives and it really changes.”

The Arco Instituto is very important in the history of the Cactus Association. We started the partnership when we were present in just a few municipalities in the interior of Ceará, and we were able to count on the generosity and expertise of the people who are part of the Institute to expand and improve our operations. In addition to the financial contribution, we have the privilege of using the content, technologies for applying evaluations, and pedagogical support from the country's leading educational solutions company. Together, we're bringing more opportunities to public school students in Brazil.

Socio-emotional

We develop challenges that connect theoretical knowledge to students’ real-life experiences in academic Olympiads, contributing to the development of socio-emotional competencies.

Arco’s socio-emotional platform includes

Customized challenges aligned with the competition theme, complementing the technical content

Materials and training sessions to help teachers prepare for implementation

Practical problem-solving activities and reflections on students’ lives and career paths

Implementing partner

Movtech is a coalition of organizations working across technology education and employability, aiming to build a strong, fair, and inclusive sector grounded in equity. One of its main initiatives is the Tech Marathon, which received more than 200,000 student registrations from across the country in 2024 alone.

We developed the solution used in Phase 1 of the Tech Marathon, fostering the development of socio-emotional skills through challenge-based problem solving and guided reflections on career paths

Impacted by the Socio-Emotional Educational Solution

I'm 15 years old, a first year of high school and I was really happy to be among the gold medalists in this marathon. It exceeded my expectations very well, both because of the opportunity that the Marathon has to encourage young people to study, to think about this area of technology and all the others. The Marathon works in a different way when we think of a competition like this, at the national level, it is much more didactic and playful. And going through all the stages, setting aside some time, we discover how to solve problems in various areas of life that can be applied. (...) It's an opportunity and sometimes students also need encouragement to discover themselves, to enter the technology area, because they don't know where to start and I think that the Marathon provides this very well.
